The Full Moon's Beauty Captured ; My Experience and Editing Process

Full Moon Camera Nikon: D5300, Lens:70-300mm, f/6.3, Shutter speed:1/250, Focal length 300mm

I used my Nikon D5300 camera and a 70-300mm lens to take pictures of the moon on the last full moon day. I was able to capture a nice, fine-grained image of the full moon using the following settings: ISO 320, aperture 6.3, shutter speed 1/250 s, and focal length 300mm.

However, I didn't end there. I choose to try stacking in an effort to further improve the image. I used the same camera settings to capture multiple images of the moon, which I later stitched together using software called stacking. An even more magnificent image of the moon was produced thanks to this technique, which also helped to minimise noise and improve sharpness.

I applied picture editing tools to modify the image's brightness, contrast, and saturation once stacking was finished. To further highlight the texture and finer features of the moon's craters, I also applied some sharpening and noise reduction.

I'm thrilled with the outcome as a whole. It was thrilling to capture the majestic beauty of the full moon, and experimenting with various editing methods allowed me to produce an even more arresting image. I sincerely hope you love the image as much as I do!
