Hi, I'm Basuru Jayasanka, a self-taught photographer based in Sri Lanka. I'm a serviceman by profession, but my passion lies in capturing the beauty of the natural world through photography.

I first fell in love with photography when I was just 15 years old, using my father's single lens reflex camera. At 24, I purchased my first digital camera, and in November 2021, I achieved my dream of owning a DSLR. I'm constantly seeking new environments and experiences to capture through my lens.

My photography niche focuses on nature, landscape, and wildlife photography. I believe photography has the power to transport people to different worlds and reveal beauty in the everyday. Whether capturing sweeping vistas, intimate details, or the majesty of the animal kingdom, my goal is to inspire others to see the world in a new light.

When I'm not behind the camera, you can find me traveling or indulging in my other hobbies, painting and photography. I'm always eager to learn and grow as a photographer, and I'm grateful for the opportunities photography has given me to connect with people worldwide.
